M&C Energy Group Ltd are committed to assisting our clients in not only reducing energy consumption and the associated cost, but actively promoting the environmental benefit of doing so.
As an environmentally responsible business, we are fully aware that although our company aims to reduce the environmental impact within other companies, our day-to-day operations inevitably impact on the environment.
We will endeavour to minimise any adverse impact on the environment by means of pollution prevention, and by energy and water conservation. In this way, cost savings, increased operational efficiency and improved quality of products and services will be achieved as well as maintaining a safe environment for the community as a whole and a healthy workplace for the company's employees.
To demonstrate a pro-active approach, meeting all legal and other requirements, we will strive to:
- Continue the development of our Environmental Services division, not only to benefit our clients but also to benefit our own business through the services we provide
- Operate in a socially responsible manner and continue to promote environmental best practice amongst our clients
- Exploit opportunities to maximise efficiency and minimise environmental impact through our working practices, in areas such as energy management, paper usage, waste reduction and recycling, and communications through the setting of objectives and targets
- Encourage employee involvement in environmental matters at all levels and provide sufficient information and training to our employees so they are able to comply with the requirements of the management system
- Minimise the environmental effect of new developments through planning and to include environmental considerations in our investment decisions
- Develop our human resources policies, which will raise awareness, encourage and enable staff to make an effective contribution to environmental improvement, both in work and within the local community
- Ensure all employees are made accountable for these policies through regular communications via newsletters, intranet, team meetings and annual reporting
- Use the principle of continuous improvement, to prevent pollution and to achieve the highest possible environmental standards
The Board of Directors is committed to the implementation of this policy through guidelines and training, which will be reviewed on an annual basis through our Environmental Management System. At M&C Energy Group, we fully recognise that we each have our part to play in contributing to environmental improvement. We readily accept our corporate commitments and will continuously work to demonstrate responsibility in all environmental, social and community issues.
